METL™

This utilizes Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services 2012 (SSIS) for the extract, transform and load, together with system interfacing (included in SQL Server 2012 licensing).

SSIS is a platform for data acquisition and ingest to a data warehouse. It features a fast and flexible developer tool used for data extraction, transformation, and loading ETL. The tool may also be used to automate maintenance of SQL Server databases and updates to multidimensional cube data.

MStar™

An open Data Warehouse with advanced Star Schemas utilizing Microsoft SQL Server 2012.

Microsoft SQL Server 2012, previously code named SQL Server Denali has a number of new enhancements and improvements over SQL 2008 R2 as well as totally new features for SQL developers, SQL Server administrators and Business Intelligence (BI) professionals.

MCube™

Data totals for responsive drilldown with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services 2012 (SSAS) with industry standard interfaces utilizing XMLA (XML for Analysis) (included in SQL Server 2012 licensing).

Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services (SSAS) delivers online analytical processing (OLAP) and data mining functionality for business intelligence applications. Analysis Services supports OLAP by letting you design, create, and manage multidimensional structures that contain data aggregated from other data sources, such as relational databases. For data mining applications, Analysis Services lets you design, create, and visualize data mining models that are constructed from other data sources by using a wide variety of industry-standard data mining algorithms.

MPort™

Utilizes a variety of presentation and analysis tools including easy to use and familiar SQL Server Reporting Services 2012 (SSRS) (included in SQL Server 2012 licensing) . Also supported is the advanced browser based Excel Services technology within Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 Enterprise Edition. The analysis design tool for Excel Services is Microsoft Excel 2010 Professional Plus Edition.

SQL Server Reporting Services provides a full range of ready-to-use tools and services to help you create, deploy, and manage reports for your organization, as well as programming features that enable you to extend and customize your reporting functionality.

With Reporting Services, you can create interactive, tabular, graphical, or free-form reports from relational, multidimensional, or XML-based data sources. Reports can include rich data visualization, including charts, maps, and sparklines. You can publish reports, schedule report processing, or access reports on-demand. You can select from a variety of viewing formats, export reports to other applications such as Microsoft Excel, and subscribe to published reports. The reports that you create can be viewed over a Web-based connection or as part of a Microsoft Windows application or SharePoint site. You can also create data alerts on reports published to a SharePoint site and receive email messages when report data changes.

In SQL Server 2012, Reporting Services introduces Power View, an interactive data exploration, visualization, and presentation experience for the Reporting Services Add-in for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Enterprise Edition. Power View is a browser-based Silverlight application, launched from SharePoint Server 2010. It provides access to data represented by tabular models based on PowerPivot workbooks published in a PowerPivot Gallery or tabular models deployed to SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services (SSAS) instances.
