Commonly Asked Questions
Q: How is the co-op handled for the startup fee?
"Fill out a Dish Network Co-Op Claim Form and send it in along with your Decentrix invoice to: DISH Network Retail Services, Attn: CO-OP, 9601 S Meridian Blvd., Englewood, CO, 80112. You can submit this within the same timeline as your other quarterly expenses. NOTE: If you process co-op claims through your distributor, send it through them first."
Q: Can I point my corporate website to my eSALES website?
"Yes, this is a very common practice among retailers who have a main corporate website or Landing page. Have your webmaster add an active link to your current corporate website or landing page to your new eSALES website."
Q: If we want to make some changes on our eSALES site, can we do that?
"The content of the eSALES website is managed by DISH Network and cannot be changed. This is why they have allowed it to be coop eligible. Decentrix offers a Premium DISH Network website, also approved by EchoStar, which has been included in their Vendor Partner Program for over five (5) years. The Premium site does in fact allow you to make changes and customize the site in many ways. The Premium site has over 800 pages of content and it can take new customer satellite sales online both in your local installation area and nationwide using EchoStar's Virtual Certificate program."
Q: I am not seeing prospects on my Prospect list, what could be the problem?
"See the article Promote your Website in the June 2008 newsletter. Lack of promotion of your website could be a huge factor. Also, as stated previously many prospects will use your website for informational gathering prior to placing an order. When ordering, many purchasers will still rather make personal contact with a retailer rather than post their contact information over the Internet. Unless you poll your clients, you may not realize how effective your website really is. Be sure to ask your clients if they saw your website prior to making their purchase to assist on gauging your website's effectiveness. Lastly, make sure your email notification from the Contact page is working. From the Contact page fill out a test form and "Send" to check that your email is working correctly. You can then delete your test entry from your Prospect list."
Q: Dish Network has announced a new promotion or content, how soon will my eSALES site be updated?
"Dish Network will deliver new promotional offers or content to Decentrix as soon as it is approved by the Dish Network Marketing department. Once Decentrix receives the approved content we will post to your eSALES website as soon as possible. Usually within 24 – 48hours."
Q: Will my eSALES website show up as a top find by a Search engine, i.e. Google, Yahoo, etc.?
"Probably not. Companies such as EchoStar pay a lot of money to search engine companies to land in the top search engine results. For example, search for Dish on Google and you will be returned over 96,000,000 results. Your advertising dollars are probably most effective when used in your local or regional market areas. See the article Promote your Website in the June 2008 newsletter."
Q: There are two (2)emails within my Admin area. What they are used for?
"One e-mail is within the Site Details area. This is the e-mail used to display to the world on your website. Often, people will not want their everyday personal e-mail here and instead will create a generic e-mail like sales@ or info@ to display on their website. The other e-mail is within the Contact Details area. This is thee-mail address used for notifying you when someone fills in the Contact page of your website. The prospect cannot see this e-mail address for privacy reasons. It is also the e-mail address Decentrix uses to send you your invoice and to contact you."
