Prospects Found! - By using Improved Order Reporting
Have you ever had a prospect that got away because you didn't capture the information to find them again? Now you can locate the prospect and turn him/her into a Sale! Order Reporting has been enhanced to show Pending orders when they are requested on the report. This allows you to see potential subscribers that have started the ordering process on your website and have entered valuable contact information. If the potential subscriber had progressed far enough through the order, there's a very good chance their information has been retained for client prospecting. Here's how to view the information:
- Sign on to your website then sign in to your Intranet
- Under the Web Order Management tab select Order Reporting
- Select a preset date range or Select Date range for your order query
- On the Order Status to Display line - check the Pending checkbox, (You must check this box). Note: To see Pending orders only, check only the Pending checkbox.
- Click on Submit Query
- View the query results, under the Order Status column, look for your Pending orders
- Click on a Pending order's Order Number
- Depending on how far the potential subscriber was in the order process, contact information may be found in either the Payment Details or Shipping Details' boxes
- Re-engage with the potential subscriber using the retained contact information (Many buyers still get cold feet when making a purchase On line and need to be contacted)
- Make the Sale!
Promote your website - Old topic - Ageless topic
These website promotional tips have appeared in a past newsletter. We feel that it's an essential topic to revisit periodically. The more you promote your website, you will find the more effective it is for your business. Research indicates that more and more buyers do their research On line. Your website becomes successful when you drive traffic to it. In this issue we'll revisit Promotional methods for your website.
Traditional promotion includes:
-
Company Literature
Make sure you include your website address on all of your business cards, stationery, and other offline promotional materials. -
Direct Mail
Direct mail has historically been a very successful medium for generating sales opportunities in traditional "bricks and mortar" businesses. Direct mail can be used to promote the website and special promotions that may be found on your website. -
Brochures, Fliers, and Door hangers
Make sure that all your brochures, fliers, and door hangers clearly identify your website address. - Newspaper and Magazine Advertisements Each ad should clearly indicate the website address.
-
Radio, Television and Cable
If you are using broadcast advertising ensure that all ads finish with a clear statement of the website address. Without a website address prospects can't find you on-line. -
Product labels
If you use product labels on any equipment you sell or install you will probably have service and support telephone numbers. You should also have your website address on these labels. -
Signs and Installer shirts
Signage on your store and any signage on company or service vehicles and clothing should have the website address. -
Press releases
Any press releases that you do should clearly indicate the website address. -
Novelty items
If you ever use novelty items - Pens, mugs, magnets, calendars, and other items you give to potential and current customers in promoting your business, make sure the website address is included in contact information. -
Phone Conversations with your Prospects
A powerful way to promote and use your website is while you are on the phone with your prospects. Often people are sitting by a PC with Internet connection. If they have questions about or are confused by the different offers, programming or promotions, ask them to go to your website and walk them through the information. Ask the client to "Bookmark" or "Add to Favorites" your website address to their browser for future referencing. Our retailers have told us this saves them time and allows them to close new prospects faster. It also makes them look VERY professional. Prospects are likely to tell their friends and family about the experience. -
Automated phone greetings and waiting messages
Include your website address on automated phone greetings or voice waiting messages. For example, a prospect hears that the agents are all busy or the office is closed. "...For more information on-line visit our website at www.nancysat.com".
Keep Your Homepage looking Fresh - Free!
Changing your Home Page graphics periodically can keep your website looking fresh to repeating visitors. One of the easiest ways to keep your website from becoming stale is to change your home page graphics. Plus, Home Page graphic choices are always good, especially when they are FREE! There are three (3) options that you can select from for your main promotional graphic on your DISH Network website home page. You can choose from Lowest Price Point, High Definition, or DishDVR Advantage. Click below on any of the options to view the campaign. If you would like to change your current home page graphic, CLICK HERE. We will change your site soon after you send us your request and notify you when the change has been completed.
New option - Link "Order Now" button to Dish Designer
Did you know you can now link all your "Order Now" buttons on your website to Dish Designer? (Dish Designer is an easy to follow wizard that helps the prospect design their own system online). To view a sample of Dish Designer, CLICK HERE. With this new option, when your prospect clicks on any "Order Now" button, he/she will begin using the Dish Designer wizard and will be guided through the simple steps of selecting their programming and equipment configuration. The prospect then fills in an easy form that lets them key in their basic contact information. This information self populates into an order form where the prospect enters their social security number and credit card details to complete the order. The prospect then selects "Submit Order". You receive an email informing you of an online order which you retrieve through your Administration tool. It's as Simple as that! If you are interested in adding the DISH Designer to your website, CLICK HERE for pricing details and to sign-up.
